# Canva Sample — Europe on a Budget A sun-faded travel reel recreated from a Canva 9:16 screen recording: a script-over-slab title card, three tips typed onto yellow chips, and a script end card. The reel wipes each line back OUT about 0.8s before its own cut — Canva looping the entrance in reverse — and none of that is ported, because the narration will not be the length the placeholder is. The reel's film-perforation border over the three tip scenes is not ported either: it is a frame decoration, and the ask was the type. Nor are the reel's standing marks — the wordmark at the head of every frame and the handle and date at the foot — which were cut so each scene carries only its own copy. ## The three renditions Each is designed against its own canvas. `9:16` is the authored ratio. `1:1` keeps the composition but at 0.72× the type, because the square has the same width and 56% of the height. `16:9` holds the authored pixel sizes — the canvas is the same height as the square — and pulls every centred box in to 60% width. Every `font.size` is restated per ratio, and so is every `textShadow`, which is raw px and does not scale. The chip's box width is restated too: it is what decides where a tip breaks, so it has to track the type size.
