# Type-on Sample — Outfit of the Day A six-beat retro-TV reel. Nothing is anchored to a scene's end: the recording wipes its type back out just before it loops, and that is the loop, not the design. Soft boundaries are `scene.transition`. ## Type The recording's faces are a geometric deco display and a formal script. The nearest catalogue pair is Josefin Sans (700 for the caps, 500 for the small letterspaced lines) and Great Vibes. The title headline is tracked -0.06em at line height 0.94, so its two lines nearly touch; the kickers and straplines run +0.2em to +0.39em. ## The three renditions Each is laid out against its own canvas — every `top` is derived from the face's own metrics so the CAP top, not the line box, lands where the design wants it. `9:16` is the authored one; `16:9` and `1:1` re-size the type against a 1080-tall canvas and re-stack it. ## Placeholders Four generated stand-in backdrops: the set square-on, at an angle, two on a shelf, and one blank screen filling the frame. Each box is full-bleed `cover`, so any photograph fits. In `16:9` a portrait still crops to the screen alone, which reads as a plain field — replace it with a wide shot if that matters.
