# Panel Sample — News Card Five cards built out of two devices measured frame by frame from a vertical social recording: **a wash that climbs out of the picture, and a stack of type that fades onto it**. Everything else here is those two worked a different way. - **Headline** is the recording, beat for beat. The picture rises out of black over 0.75s; the violet wash starts climbing at 0.4s; the brand lockup, the category pill, the headline, the arrow disc and the timestamp each arrive on their own count between 0.73s and 1.7s. Every one is a plain fade — measured, not chosen: all three headline lines appear at full width in the same frame, so there is no stagger, no wipe and no rise to invent. Only the pill and the disc scale, and they scale from their own centres. - **Story** is the second card, and it arrives composed. The boundary is a `slide` from the left and the block is already at rest when it is revealed — the standfirst, byline, button and chip do not move for the nine seconds they are on screen. That is the source, measured. - **Quote** turns the card over: the same gradient read from the top down, with the picture left showing along the foot. A quote mark, three lines of testimony, a name. - **Stat** keeps the panel and the pill and hands the headline slot to one figure. It is the pack's one departure from the plain fade, and a small one: the same opacity ramp, subdivided per character, 0.07s apart. - **Outro** stops the panel being a lower third and makes it the whole ground, so the picture beneath reads as texture. Mark, a two-line sign-off, and the button and link chip kept as one centred row. The type is Montserrat, fitted to the recording rather than guessed: 700 for the headline, the pill, the brand, the figure and the buttons, 500 for the standfirst, the caption and the italic byline and timestamp. Sizes were solved from measured glyph widths — three headline lines independently agreed on the same em, which is what picked the face over Work Sans and Poppins. Eight palettes, all eight roles stated in each. Authored at 9:16 and laid out again for 16:9 and 1:1, where the same stacks are held against the frame edge at 0.9 the type size and the gradient stops are pushed back, because the same box is a larger share of a shorter frame. Every photo is a generic placeholder and a `photo` slot.
