Claude Motion Graphics: AI motion design videos and their prompts

Claude motion graphics are animated videos, usually showreels, launch films and explainers, that Claude Opus 5.5 builds as code from a text prompt. They spread on X in late September 2026, after Anthropic released Opus 5.5.

The showreel prompt posted by @stephanlivera: “make a dynamic 15-second motion graphics video that shows what an incredible motion designer you are, like it’s your showreel for a résumé. go all out.” Many creators reran it word for word, and several of their versions are in this gallery.

Claude writes the animation as code, usually HTML and JavaScript, sometimes Remotion, Manim, Three.js or Python, then renders it to an MP4 with a tool such as ffmpeg. That needs an environment where Claude can run code, like Claude Code.

For a finished MP4, yes, or another setup where Claude can install tools and render files. In a plain chat Claude returns the animation code, and you render it yourself.

The prompts were shared publicly by their creators, so copy them and try them. The videos belong to the people who made them, and each card links to the original post on X.
