# Wordpop Sample — Home Office A seven-scene vertical reel recreated from a screen recording. One device carries the whole template: **an outlined headline that types itself in word by word.** - **The outline.** Every headline is one `text` layer set in Fraunces Bold at a synthesized italic, filled `ink` and carrying a thick `stroke` of `halo` on its GLYPHS — the stored scale's ceiling, `100`, which is 0.4em — a 29px stroke reading as a 14.6px outer ring at 9:16. Two things make it work. The stroke is EM-relative on a text layer (the player paints `(width/100)*0.4em`), so one stored `61.8` holds the same weight at every ratio and needs no `sizeProps` patch. And a centred stroke that heavy would eat the glyph, so the scene css sets `paint-order: stroke fill` on the headline's `data.attrs.id` — the ring paints behind the fill and the orange survives. That ring is what does the work a scrim would otherwise do, which is why the photo stays whole. - **The pill's ring.** The kicker carries the same white edge as a `border`, which unlike the glyph stroke IS canvas-relative: 13.27 for the 8.6px ring the source draws. - **The word cascade.** Nothing slides. A single tween on `{ part: "word" }` fades each word in over 0.08s on a 0.067s stagger, which is the source's rate measured frame by frame — sixteen words land in about a second. The lines are authored with `<br>` and set `alignY: "top"`, so the block grows downward as the words arrive and the first line never moves. Every one of them is the same layer with a different box, a different size and a different place to start; nothing new was invented to carry them. **The pills are sized by measurement.** `nowrap` did not stop "TIP 01" breaking over two lines — the box was 186px and the label measures 184px at italic 700 56px Fraunces. Every pill is cut for its longest allowed label plus the ~30px of side padding the POV chip has, and `maxLength` is set to what the box actually holds. **The pill.** The kicker is a single `text` layer — orange `fill`, `radius: 100`, white `border`, `tag` lettering — not a plate with a label on it. It pops in on `back.out(2)` and holds. **The shadow stays tight.** A wide blur under a stroked headline hazes the ring and the outline stops reading as an outline — it is 4px down at 6px blur, which is the offset the source draws, not a glow. **Motion.** Each photo drifts from `scale: 1` to `1.07` over six seconds on a linear ease. It is a fromTo running forward from the scene's start, so a scene resized by the user's narration simply holds the last frame of the drift rather than cutting mid-move. **Where it departs from the source.** The source's headline reflows as it types, so a partial line sits left of centre until the next word arrives; here the lines are authored breaks, so every partial line is centred from the start. The scene-one cut is an iris in the recording, which playback has no kind for — it is a `zoom` at 0.35s, the closest boundary of the eight available. The clips are stills standing in for footage. Authored at 9:16 and laid out again for 16:9 and 1:1.
