Two different requests
The same search covers both, and they are answered in different places.
English spoken in Ireland, with the rhythm and vowels that come from centuries of contact with Irish. The t in words like water stays soft, th often lands closer to t or d, and sentences carry their own melody. For advertising, training and narration aimed at an Irish audience, this is what makes a read sound like it came from Dublin rather than from London.
Irish is the first official language of the state, taught in every school and used across broadcasting, government and the Gaeltacht. It is a Celtic language, unrelated to English in grammar and sound, and it has its own library here. If the script is in Irish rather than in English with an Irish accent, start from the language page.
How it works
Pick the language, hear the samples, set the names, export.
An Irish accent reading English and a voice reading Gaeilge are different requests. Both are on this page, and the choice comes before picking a voice.
Many of the voices here have a ready sample, so you can hear the accent in seconds rather than reading a description of it.
Names like Siobhan, Caoimhe, Dun Laoghaire and Youghal follow Irish spelling rules rather than English ones. Set the pronunciation once for the handful that repeat and they stay right across a whole campaign.
Take the MP3 for radio, podcast and phone systems, or build visuals and captions here and export a 1080p MP4 from the same script.
