The Singapore register
The register most local content is narrated in, and why it suits the job.
That is the register of an MRT announcement, a corporate induction or a government notice: Singaporean rhythm and vowels with full grammar, and it is what most local video is narrated in. Scripts written that way read cleanly and land as unmistakably Singaporean, which is what the work usually calls for.
Singapore runs on four official languages, and the voices here cover English and Tamil. For Mandarin and Malay work, those libraries are far bigger than anything a country page would list, so the language pages below are the right place to start rather than this one.
How it works
Choose the language, write for the register, check the local names, export.
Full sentences and standard grammar, the way local announcements and corporate video are written. Particles belong to spoken Singlish, where the meaning sits in the intonation, so leave them out of a scripted read.
Language before voice. The voices here are split across the two, and an English voice handed a Tamil script will transliterate rather than read it.
Bedok, Jurong, Toa Payoh and Tampines are read from English spelling rules by default, and the stress often lands wrong. Fixing the pronunciation once at script stage is faster than correcting it on every asset in a campaign.
Take an MP3 for lifts, lobbies and phone systems, or build the visuals and subtitles here and export a 1080p MP4 from the same script.

Short recordings in more than one language, updated on a schedule.
Campaign cuts that need a local read rather than an American one.
One of the four official languages, often the one that gets skipped.
A regional read without booking a session for every cut.
